The Netherlands’ true ‘cover’-band of the legendary music group The Eagles.

The Eagles Tribute Band originated from the country band Desperado, one of Netherlands’ most famous country rock-bands. Their formation played together with several big names in the country world like Kenny Rogers and Don Williams, who called them ‘One hell of a band’. The name Desperado comes from one of the songs of the Eagles (Desperado).

After years of covering songs of the Eagles and even musically guiding big artists on big festivals the choice was made in 2004 to set up a serious tribute-band of the Eagles. The band was expanded with two extra professional singers after this step: Wim v.d. Vliert and Jan Buis. Directly after this expansion, a CD titled ‘Talking to the Moon’ was recorded. This CD contained multiple Eagles songs. During the recording of the CD it became clear that their band was capable of giving high quality performances of the much loved Eagles songs.

An introduction of the singers

Wim v.d. Vliert, one of the most famous country singers of the Netherlands. He played in the band Cash of Delivery where Ilse de Lange was one of his band members.
Jan Buis: Used to tour for 12 years with the famous André Hazes. As the bandleader of Hollywood Boulevard he is still musically leading big artists.

Working with the Eagles Tribute band is considered a treat for both singers beside their own musical highlights. Thanks to the amazing artists of this wonderful band and the three amazing singers (V.d. Vliert, Buis and of course Desperado-lead singer Humphrey Wenas) you can be assured that the stage will be filled with great talent!
