Piene

Piene (b. 2003) has been writing and performing music since childhood. She began pursuing music professionally in 2022, performing twice on Dutch radio station NL-MUSIC and releasing two covers with producer Fanuel Coenraad: “Born to Be Alive” (June 2023) and “Monsters” (September 2023). She also performed live on Q-Music, playing two covers in Stephan’s Pianobar.

In 2024, Piene released her debut original single “Golden Hour,” followed by her debut EP Heart Made of Honey (22 November 2024), co-written and produced with Fanuel Coenraad.

Live performance & television

Piene’s performance experience spans radio, television, and live touring. She has performed live on-air multiple times for NL-MUSIC and Q-Music. In 2026, she competed on The Voice of Holland (season 13), joining the team of rapper Willie Wartaal. Across the show’s live and televised rounds, she performed in front of a national broadcast audience while being coached on stage presence, vocal control, and performance under pressure — experience that sharpened her into a more confident, polished live act.

That same year, she opened for established Dutch singer-songwriters Douwe Bob, Nielson, and Jaap Reesema in June, performing as a support act to their audiences. In October 2026, she will join Leon Priest’s tour, performing at venues across the Netherlands.
